The Infinite Possibilities in Life and Love

‘The do nots and just don’ts of re-igniting an old flame’…

Certain that we’ve all been down that all too familiar road when we just happen past a prior fling and wonder to ourselves just what exactly ever happened?! Was it her or me? How old were we and was it that either of us had some sort of committment or jealousy issue?

Let me tell you…..IT WAS ‘SOMETHING’!! Red flag numero uno. In the standard world, where people tend to analyze these things with a conscious and coherent mind, we refer to this as ‘double-dipping’, a taboo frowned upon by the average citizen, scholar and dignitary alike. The idea of offering yourself to the volcano is not, I repeat not necessary in today’s modern era.

When relationships fail, they don’t tend to fail overnight. This deterioration generally takes time…and some effort from at least one involved partner. I can’t recount the number of times, I’ve been accidentally and other times purposely exposed to someone exclaiming their reasons for giving their ex a second ‘SHOT’. Notice the carefully placed words here… By nature, we are a world of interdependent or co-dependent individuals. We don’t enjoy being alone! It’s that simple.

But keep in mind that though you may feel that you don’t have the time or possess the ability to meet or attract someone new that you may be setting yourself up by going backward… Consider this; Is a second trip down broken hearts lane worth the possible step back and the deconstruction of the  rebuilding process that you’ve been through in the aftermath of that same said relationship that you may still be recovering from? Hmmmmmmmmm………
