‘Contractual obligation?’…How binding is your relationship?

It is the order of this court that the couple standing here today be permitted  to disavow the terms of this marriage agreement based on…………………….Folks! This is a very serious problem! Many couples that claim to have the purest of intent are entering into serious commitments and have impure  objectives. What ever happened to ACTUALLY caring about someone and WANTING to be in a dedicated and loyal relationship? Thumbing through the marriages, divorces and disillusions section of the local paper brings many things to mind.

First; Isn’t it nice to see an ol’ buddy from high school or college that ‘may’ have found their life’s partner?

Secondly; I wonder why all these couples are filing for divorce? What happened? Isn’t love forever? Wonder if I’ll ever find that person and if so, will WE end up in the same D n D portion of this paper?

Let’s assume for just a moment that most of us really do want to discover the tangibility of a lasting and truthful bond with that special someone and that you honestly are pursuing it with your whole heart. Next, your idea of this kind of thing is about more than money, status or sex. And finally, you heart is in the right place along with your mind and emotional state. We need to start being fair to each other and stop playing all the games that have thrown us into a  romantic tailspin away from the safest spot to crash and burn.

There seem to be more problems than solutions and nobody is actively trying to address these and reintroduce the sanctity of commitment and devotion on a higher than surface-level. What kept our parents and grandparents together for 30 or 40 years?…….Mutual-respect, loyalty and assurance. What kept our cousins, neighbors and Pastors in happy adoration for all this time?………Mutual-respect, loyalty and assurance. The great pretenders have altered the disposition of the dating game to a point of malcontent and deceiptful agenda.

I say to those who seek to destroy the naturally beautiful and harmonious entity that is love………………Sign your papers on the way out, the bailiff will see you to the window. There are people actually here to retake their vows!
