‘Memoire’s of a crash-test dummy’; Are you her (Safety Guy)?

A fine line can be drawn between, (purposely, if we’re not careful) being a nice guy and falling into the perennial, not as dreaded as it should be………………………………………’Friend-Zone’! Just where is a stark, prophetically profound narrator when you need one these days? The gateway that parallels our universe and offers us passage through to the ‘FZ’ is the same one that provides us entrance into the boudoir! This piece of knowledge keenly installed into your psychology should beckon you to be creative in your approach to the presented  line of Q and A. Opening convo goes something like, “So what do you do”? Response selection is more important than one may think. If you are stuck in some God-awful, dead-end  boiler-room position with no chance of escape, you may wanna revise your rezzi to resemble something slightly more romantically lucrative!

Without the conscious guilt associated with outright lying or the potential ethical dilemma that could surface, smudging the lines requires a bit of intricacy. I suggest that you produce the truth but if you are in a situation that mandates something more you should take into account that, well, for the sake of your self-esteem, you are in delicate waters and should navigate accordingly. You’re at a place in the very beginning of the intro that could make or break your expectations for future interest. Are you a potential friend or possible bf prospect?

If you were to choose to be the ‘sophisticate’, you may come across as crass and condescending. Costume #2: Opting for the ‘casual’ guy who didn’t ACTUALLY show up for a chance at some ‘last-call’ only makes you look obvious and lastly, as the ‘sensitive’, I’m listening nice guy, you may as well hit the change machine and head for the open pool table! I’m not attempting to drag down anyone that believes in the philo that being an available emo contradicts your chances at being successful in meeting the one who turns you into ‘El Mariachi’, I’m only suggesting that you try to prevent the pattern of behavior that leads to an overflow of friendly invitations into the what else?……………………Friend Zone!
