Optical illusion….

Any shaman worth their salt can create something out of thin air such as making it rain or healing the sick or wounded. The problem is that there are more to such things than meets the eye. I talk a lot about slide-of hand and illusionists but I am going to dive a little deeper on this one. The entire premise of what I am going to say is based on what I observe daily in my advent as a romantic hopeful.

Firstly, absolving oneself from blame for committing acts that you personally find reprehensible is an hypocritical double standard. If it’s deemed unacceptable by you, what makes you think it’s ok for you to exercise such behavior? Aside from the few obvious things such as violence or infidelity, there exists many other subtler forms of either abusive or downright neglectful etiquette when stroking the egos or not of a potential significant other.

Pretending that the situation is as glowingly beautiful as it appears when in fact, it is about a stones-throw away from Armageddon is just dangerous. Not only to your well-being but to the welfare of anyone involved. What the hell ever happened to the simple truth? I’m hearing soo much about ‘keeping it real’ and ‘I’m looking for someone who wants me for me’ that I can’t hide the humor anymore. Being yourself involves a very manageable and clear task…………………………BE YOURSELF! Not who you’d like to imagine or falsify passport doc’s for……….JUST YOU!

All too often, the cosmetic appeal of who you’re presenting yourself as is actually replacing the true nature of who you are. Bad intentions take on all of a number of forms when jousting for the hand of your love interest. Let it be known that someone such as myself spends plenty of time gathering thoughts and information on the modern state of relationship struggle. I am not alone, there are many who have chosen to take on Mt. Affinity with a crossbow and chisel!! And none of us are the half-witted boneheads that some would like this entire wide world to believe.
